Privacy Policy

Practical, by Nubico Software Technologies SL, is a language-learning app. This policy explains what data we process,
what for, and who we share it with.
1. Data we process
- Account: email, name and password (hashed, never in plain text). If you sign in
with Google or Apple, we receive your identifier and your email.
- Anonymous device identifier: a random id we generate to link your subscription.
It is not your IMEI or an advertising identifier.
- Learning content: the messages you write or dictate in conversations and
exercises.
- Audio (if you use voice input): it is transcribed and not
retained.
- Progress and usage: languages, level, completed situations, streak and
mini-game results.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe (web) or Apple / Google (in-app purchases).
We never store card details, only the subscription status.
2. What we use it for
- Providing the service: conversations, corrections, progress, mini-games and voice.
- Managing your account and your Premium subscription.
- Maintaining and improving the app with aggregated usage metrics.
- Sending the local notifications you choose to enable.
Legal basis (GDPR): performance of the contract, your consent (voice,
notifications) and legitimate interest (security and product improvement).
3. Who we share it with
- OpenAI: processes text and audio to generate replies, corrections and speech.
- Stripe: web payments. Apple / Google: in-app purchases.
- RevenueCat: subscription status for in-app purchases.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete it from
Settings → Delete account in the app, or by writing to
hola@nubico.tech.
5. International transfers
Some providers (OpenAI, Stripe) may process data outside the EEA with appropriate safeguards
(standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and request
portability, by writing to hola@nubico.tech. You may also
lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14.
8. Security
We encrypt connections (HTTPS), hash passwords (scrypt) and never store card details. Provider
keys live only on our server, never in the app.
9. Changes
We will publish any changes here and update the date above.
